Jenni has over thirty years of business experience with a wide array of industries in various stages of growth. She is able to provide integrated business counsel because of her background in law, finance, accounting, tax, operations, succession planning, information technology, intellectual property, corporate governance, securities, incentive compensation, human resources, marketing, public relations, client service, product development, distribution channels, investment structuring, acquisitions, divestitures, merger transitions, and the balancing of these priorities for a particular company’s interests.

Jenni founded Townsend Law, LLC (f/k/a Neri and Associates, LLC) in 2009. She has provided counsel for a variety of situations including private equity transactions, divestitures, start-ups, partner buy-outs, individual investments, company reorganizations, technology transactions, purchasing distressed companies, joint ventures, exempt entity formations, succession planning, employment issues, tax strategies, and countless others.

Immediately after law school, Jenni worked for an elite multi-national law firm representing strategic buyers, sellers, and joint venturers; private equity funds and their portfolio companies; and a variety of other public and private companies. Jenni’s practice focused on change-of-control transactions, corporate governance, securities, and general corporate matters.

Prior to law school, Jenni’s ten years of work experience included various management, consulting, and financial positions for a multi-national clothing retailer, a computer manufacturer, and a start-up/early-stage technology company.
